A cycling enthusiast has ridden 9000km on two homemade bicycles. It’s “relatively simple” to make a bike frame, says MikeRobertGodfrey, who was inspired to give it a go after watching a series by the Global Cycling Network.
The frame geometry was designed in BikeCAD, a parametric software specifically for diamond frame bikes. Mike choose to use steel tubes as they have “excellent fatigue resistance and a very high tensile strength”.
